Our Bespoke Process
As a small handmade bakery, all cakes are baked to order in small batches. Availability, decoration details, and delivery schedules are personally confirmed before booking.

All cakes are handmade to order in Suffolk, so advance booking is recommended, especially during busy periods.

Thank you for choosing The Baking Jin for your special occasions. I use high-quality, fresh ingredients. Please place orders 5-7 days in advance. Orders within a week may be possible but are not guaranteed. The earlier you order, the better, as slots fill up fast.

For Your Cake
Many of our cakes are made with fresh cream, fresh fruit, and delicate chiffon sponge, and are best kept refrigerated to maintain their freshness and texture.
As these cakes are lightly finished and less stable in warmer temperatures, we recommend travelling with a cool box or ice packs during summer weather, particularly for journeys longer than 20–30 minutes.
To help your cake stay at its best, we also suggest preparing fridge space at home before collection.
If you are ordering one of our cakes for the first time, we are always happy to advise on transport and storage.
